School Admissions
School admissions arrangements are consistent with the School Admissions Code of Practice.
The School’s Admissions Policy reflects the fact that we will be an inclusive school that brings together families from all backgrounds and makes an important contribution to community cohesion. It will aim to serve the whole community and will be committed to bringing people together from different cultural, religious and social backgrounds.
Apply for a September primary school reception place through Cheshire East if you:
- live in Cheshire East (even if you are applying for a school outside Cheshire East)
- live in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales or outside the UK
Please note that all admission enquiries and applications must be made via Cheshire East Council and not the school directly.
Admission to the Nursery is as follows:
- A child is eligible for admission to Handforth Grange School Nursery at the start of the term following his or her third birthday subject to availability. Children may join the Nursery at any time during the school year as long as a place is available but may not change their early years setting without consulting Cheshire East so that the free entitlement is transferred.
